Add a building or missions fund
Givers like to know where their gift goes. A fund lets them pick the building project or missions instead of the general fund, and every gift keeps its fund in your records, reports and statements.

Good to know
- Make default on a fund's row changes where a gift goes when the donor doesn't pick a fund. There's always exactly one default.
- Finished with a fund? Switch its Active toggle off. It comes off your giving page and its giving history stays with it. There's no delete, so a fund's history never goes missing, and you can switch it back on any time.
- If you've picked particular funds under Funds on this page in Giving → Page, tick the new fund there too. When none are picked, every active fund shows.
- You can also ask the Giving chat: “Create a Building fund”, “Rename Building to Building Campaign” or “Make Missions the default fund”. It shows you the change first and makes it only when you confirm.
If it’s not working
The Active switch on my General Fund is greyed out
That's your default fund, and the default can't be switched off. Press Make default on another fund first, then switch this one off.
My new fund isn't on the giving page
Your giving page is set to show only certain funds. Open Giving → Page, tick the fund under Funds on this page, and press Save changes.
It says “Give the fund a name first.”
The Name box is empty. Type a name and press Create fund again.
It says “Something went wrong — try again.”
It didn't save, so nothing changed. Try again in a moment. If the same line comes back, your church may not have chosen how it gives yet: press Setup at the top of the screen, and if Set up Aligned Church is there, press it and make that choice. Then try again.
