Get a sermon or Bible study written
Sermons, Bible studies and devotionals are written in Aligned Leader, the assistant for pastors that works with the same account, while Aligned Church runs your church office. You don't have to go looking for it: ask in the Church chat, and one tap carries your words across.
1/4 · Ask for it in the chat, like “Write a sermon on the prodigal son for Sunday”
Good to know
- Attached a file in the Church chat? Files don't travel with your words. Attach it again in Aligned Leader: + beside its send button, then Upload a photo or document.
- A class as a record stays in Aligned Church: the sign-up, the roster or the schedule for a membership class is Church work. Only the teaching itself goes to Aligned Leader.
- Anything that also names a Church job, like “post the sermon to social” or “send a text about Sunday's sermon”, is Church work, so it stays in Aligned Church.
- The Church | Leader switch at the top left of Aligned Church takes you to Aligned Leader any time, and aligned.church/church brings you back.
If it’s not working
Aligned Leader asked me to choose a tradition first
The first time an account owner opens Aligned Leader, it asks once for your church's tradition, so its writing starts from what your church believes. It's saved, and you won't be asked again. A guest picks one too, before the first message.
I wanted a page on our website, not a sermon
Name the Church job in the same sentence, like “make a sermon series page on the website”. A request that names a site page, a post, or sending a text stays in Aligned Church.
Aligned Leader says “Register for a free account to keep testing Aligned Leader.”
As a guest you get one free conversation in Aligned Leader, and starting another asks you to create a free account, which saves your chats.
